The primary challenge Roth River faced was creating web and mobile applications capable of connecting to their unique sensor system. The goal was to allow continuous monitoring of whiskey maturation and provide a platform to customize their blends, experiencing the aging process virtually.


ProCoders assembled a skilled team of developers proficient in React.js, Node.js, and React Native, alongside GraphQL and AWS, to tackle the project’s demands. Through extensive research and agile development practices, they crafted a cross-platform application that bridged the gap between traditional distilling and modern technology. 

This application enabled users to interact with their barrel, request customizations like hand-etched messages, and even influence the aging process.
